Austro-Hungarian Victorian era pendant made and signed by Hermann Böhm set with8 purple Gemstones. The two smallest stones are a lighter purple hue. The remaining 6 stones are darker, with the middle of the three in the drop  series showing hints of burgundy or plum. The pendant is beautifully enameled in various colors on both the front and back. It hangs from two chains that come from a uniquely decorated link, which is attractive and unusual. It is stamped on the two top loops with HB on one side for Hermann Bohm with what appears to  be the letter Pand a Viennese silver mark on the other. It is the ‘A’ for Vienna.

Due to the age of this piece, there is visible wear and enamel loss, but its excellent craftsmanship and careful keeping has allowed it to remain in very nice condition.

Hermann Bohm was an accomplished and well-known Viennese silversmith and enameller who died in 1890.
